Our Story

Back in the 1960´s and 70´s Daniel and Birgitta visited Marbella many times for shorter and longer periods. Ever since, Marbella has been their favorite place to live and to work. Daniel started his first job in the real estate business in 1971 and worked hard to learn the business. He represented a couple of different real estate agencies as an employee but was aiming for a business of his own. Daniel and Birgitta met In early 1990`s and in 1993 the decision was made to start a company of their own. D&B Marbella was born with Daniel as a sales agent and Birgitta doing administration. During the years Birgitta developed a service for rental properties, helping owners rent out their properties. The business grow over the years and still almost 30 years later they are serving buyers, sellers and renting clients with their knowledge, entusiasm and large network of necessary contacts of all kinds.

In 2022 they decided to develop the business and modernize the technical platform for their work. In collaboration with an old client and friend, Göran Broodh, they run the new brand Home in Marbella. Together they are making the most of modern technology to market the business of selling, buying and renting properties. His background is in management consulting since more than 20 years and big fan of Marbella with its huge range of possible activities like, golf, biking, hiking in the mountains, padel and much more. Göran has spent a lot of time in his Marbella home the last ten years and now lives and works in Nueva Andalucía.
